Frequently Asked Questions
How is Kick different from Twitch?
Kick is still in its infancy and has a lot of time to develop its own identity. For now, Kick plans to offer a better revenue split to its streamers and allow same-day payment instead of monthly. In the future, if Kick does exclusive creator programs, it is likely to have streamers that are exclusive to the platform.
What’s the revenue split on Kick?
Kick promises to implement a 95-5 subscriber revenue split (95% to creator and 5% to Kick). For reference, Youtube has a 70-30 split and Twitch has a 50-50 split. In addition, creators can still get money from donations on top of this.
Is Kick.com owned by Stake?
According to Tyler “Trainwrecks” Niknam, Stake’s owner Eddie Craven is an adviser/investor in Kick, but Stake itself is not an investor.
Who are Kick’s streamers?
There is not yet a definitive list of creators that will stream on Kick. But Xposed—a decently big casino streamer—can be found streaming on Kick regularly. Also, TrainwrecksTV said that he will be “a non-exclusive broadcaster” on Kick.
Will there be gambling on Kick?
Kick's TOS on Gambling
Kick’s current community guideline regarding gambling is not clear, but according to Trainwrecks’ TwitLonger, Kick’s TOS will be updated to have clear-cut rules on ethical gambling, such as disclosed fill balances, no wager-locked/code-locked giveaways, and no deception “regarding the reality of gambling’s losing nature”.
